Week 11 Recap
For both Ryan and Morgan, whose teams got screwed by the 49ers this weekend. Also for JB, because the 49ers suck and Shanahan needs a haircut. Maybe he should go see Burrow’s barber.

Standings
We had two spots get clinched this week: Samantha is in, Morgan is out. EBDB, JB, Ju, and Tues are on the verge this week.
It looks like its going to be a three-way battle for the sixth spot between Shannon, Jon, and Blythe. Shannon and Jon could have an elimination game in the last week…so it’s realistically a battle between Shannon and Blythe.
Some final notes on history:
- Samantha’s bid for the best statistical season of all time has slowed down. She’s currently +80 points ahead of her projections to-date (#8 all time). Still chugging along, 1K points to date, but NOT QUITE BOAT STATUS.
- Speaking of BOATS, after three weeks of 90+ and two 100+ games in a row, *Blythe is now #9 all time at +72.78.
- Morgan has officially eclipsed Julian’s 2021 team as getting the most screwed by ESPN, with -169.74 points to date. Now that she’s first team out, I fully expect her team to take off because that’s just how the Fantasy Gods like to screw with you.
Player of the Week
This one goes to Bo Nix. His 35.78 points led Julian to a the same number of wins as his patients had fingers on the 4th of July. I looked for GIFs of Bo Nix to celebrate his accomplishment, but all I could find were pictures of his parents.
Honorable Mention this week goes to Chris Boswell. His 24 points was second-best on Erik’s team this week (good enough for 6th overall, ahead of Cooper Kupp… who is also on Erik’s team). Boswell is now the 17th highest scoring non-QB player.

This picture also makes Ryan very uncomfortable, which is yet another reason to include it.
Team of the Week
The best TEAM performance of the week was from Team Ship Show. Blythe rolled the dice on Ladd McConkey, which paid off when she nearly doubled-up Jon for her third 90+ performance in row. She’s now in the hunt for a playoff spot and has an outside shot at the history books.
Honorable Mention: EBDB had the most points this week by far, so here’s your flowers:
Matchup of the Week
Shannon vs Tuesday was far and away the best matchup of the week. Not because it came down to MNF, or a kneel-down, or anything you might expect.
OH NO - both teams were bascially rostering every warm body they had. None of their players really had a good day, except their RBs.
- Saquon: 31.8 points for Shannon.
- Joe Mixon: 33.3 points for Tuesday.
Shannon left an additional 12 points on her bench with Josh Downs…but the real story here is that Tuesday was within one TD WITHOUT A QB. Who could she have rostered and won?
- Geno Smith. His 10.74 points would have been enough for a W.
- Will “I love Mayo” Levis: 11.6 points
- Cooper (who the f**k is that ginger and why is he better than Dak) Rush: 12.36 points
Quite literally, anyone would have won that game.
Manager Stats
Not a ton to report here - Erik has made quite the recovery since Week 5. I guess having a roster of non-injured players and the best kicker not named Justin Tucker helps.
Shannon has also made quite a run. On the opposite end, Jon’s team looks like it’s been on a roller coaster from hell. Seriously, his team is the fantasy equivalent of Michigan - get a ring, take a vacation.
Megan had a fiery bench this week, but it wouldn’t have helped. There’s no stopping Boswell and Chase Brown.
All in all, a pretty normal week…minus the fact that Tuesday didn’t roster a QB.
