Weeks 5 & 6

Standings

I think almost everyone is feeling this right about now. It’s a jungle out there.

Sigh.

Let’s recap!

Player of the Week

This was a close one - Justin Fields was the clear superstar these last two weeks (more on that later), but instead the best individual performance was the Saints Defense. Their 29 points, while not the best individual DST score this season, was Julian’s top performer, leading him to a 8 point victory over Jon. For the record, they were nearly as good as Brock Purdy (fantasy-wise).

Winner.

Team of the Week

This one wasn’t decided until the end of the weekend - but The Bizness gets the nod here. JB started out with DJ Moore racking up 41 points ON THE BENCH. Normally, that’s dumpster fire territory. But instead - JB just rolled up stacks on stacks to beat Ryan with room to spare.

Actual footage of Ryan from last weekend

Nice work Biz.

Matchup of the Week

Week 6 - Ship Show vs The Bizness. In a week where points were hard to come by, these teams showed out*.* More like - they tried really hard.

The Bizness managed to score 4TDs (24 points), but averaged 6 points PER PLAYER the rest of the weekend.

Not to be outdone - Team Ship Show said, Hold my White Claw.

Points?

En Fuego

While The Bizness was doing his best NBA JAM impression in Week 5, Grow a Pair and Go For 2 left a whopping 54 points on the bench, 47.5 of which were playable. Result?

L → En Fuego status confirmed.

Manager Stats

We’ve had some movement in the stats department! Ryan has been on a steady climb, overtaking Crispy - but the big movers in the last few weeks have been Morgan and Julian (+) while Erik has been slippin’.

Manager Power Rating Stomp Rate
Blythe 13.9 .38
Chris 25.4 .44
Erik 20.2 .61
Jon 21.35 .47
Julian 24 .58

Megan 23.7 .58
Morgan 22.3 .65
Ryan 25.75 .70
Samantha 17.45 .47

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the teams stomping over 50% be the teams that make it into the playoffs this year!
