Week 12 Recap
Twelve down, two to go! We didn’t have more teams clinch their playoff spot this week, but we did see two more teams exit the running. It still looks like it’s three teams competing for the final two spots (barring any surprises). The big story this week was Erik completing a 5 week journey to the #3 spot, and Megan finalizing her 9-week recovery and on the cusp of a playoff spot.
Meanwhile, Jon is back from the dead and in the running with Blythe and Ryan.

Giving Thanks
Since it’s turkey week, I thought would do something a bit different for the recap. From top to bottom (of the standings), here’s what I’m pretty sure each team is the most thankful for.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TDs?!?
I can’t believe I’m saying it - but I’m most grateful for Joe Burrow. Even with that stupid bleach job, the Burrow -> Chase connection has basically been my entire season. I just hope they don’t give up and start chasing a draft spot and tank my playoff run. Slim Sha-dey, keep it up.
The Schitt List
Samantha is very thankful for healthy hamstrings. Her stable of running backs: K9, James Conner, and Lamar Jackson have been feasting on the ground all season. The only time she doesn’t win is when they are either benched or having a rough outing. They don’t even have to do well, just be close to their projection and nobody can catch her.
EBDB
In a season of injuries, Erik’s team is basically the medical tent…so he’s very thankful that Josh Allen has been healthy and avoiding his usual late-season interception routine. I know he’s just hoping that Tua keeps his head off the turf and Puka + Kupp don’t pull a Peter Griffin.
Speaking of, Erik is also thankful for Tuesday because she put Puka on waivers for some reason. WHY?!?
Grow a Pair and Go for 2
Looking at her roster this season, I’m not quite sure what Megan is thankful for. Justin Tucker I guess. Oh wait - it’s that Josh Jacobs finally learned how to catch a pass. Between this newfound skill and Austin Ekeler’s kickoff return points, she’s found herself one win away from the playoffs.
Let’s slow our roll a bit eh, Josh?
Active Dumpster Fire
I think Ryan is most grateful that the Ravens are coached by the better Harbaugh and for the fantasy friends he’s met along the way. You know, like Kareem Hunt, Chase Brown, and Jayden Reed. You’ve heard of them…right?!?
The rest? Not thankful.
Toomey Smalls
Shannon is thankful for the Eagles…but mostly just Saquon. This six game win streak is some real Philly shit.
Lamar I Hear It Lamar I Like It
I honestly have no idea what Jon is thankful for. He has flipped a 6 game losing streak into a massive win and is somehow almost in the playoffs…so that is something.
Maybe Russell Wilson?
We’ll go with that.
Team Ship Show
Blythe is thankful for a pair of white hot contributors to her team, Joe Burrow and Amon-Ra St Brown. Joe Burrow, the #2 fantasy QB so far, emphasis white.
Amon-Ra, #3 overall WR, emphasis…see for yourself.
JBeeZyn
JB is thankful for Chuba Hubbard. Yes, the Chuban Missile Crisis (thank you Chris Berman) has been JB’s mule this season. Unlike his 49ers, Chuba has not let JB down yet, and when you play for the Panthers - that’s saying something.
SeattleSuckmyhawks
The only Fantasy Football thanks Julian can give is for Bo Nix. This roster can’t seen to get its act together, but Bo knows ball.
Julian might be fighting for his fantasy life over the next few weeks, but at least Bo makes it interesting
ShowMeYourTDs
Tuesday is VERY thankful for Baker Mayfield. Not only is he one of the top players in all of fantasy football, but he is also singlehandedly keeping Tuesday’s team alive. Joe Mixon is doing his part, but Baker is putting in work here. Give the man his flowers.
THE Team Buckeyes
Morgan is thankful for Ryan Day. Because when your fantasy team is getting screwed by ESPN, she knows that her Buckeyes will keep winning. Except against that one team.
Screw you Puddles.
